Mary (May)GROCOTTPassed away peacefully, on 15th December 2025, at Aintree Hospital.

Re-united with husband John.

Dearly loved mum to John, Marian, Lynda, Elaine and Corrinne and much loved mother-in-law.

Treasured and adored Nana by her ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Will be sadly missed by her dear sister, Angela.

The funeral is to be held at St Joseph's Church, 40 Warren Road, Blundellsands, L23 6UE on Monday 5th January 2026 at 1.30 pm followed by cremation at Thornton Crematorium at 3.00 pm.

Family flowers only please but donations gratefully received for Lymphoma Action.

The beautiful queen of our family who was loved so much by everyone and will be missed so much more than words could ever be expressed.

Though I didn’t know her as well as many, it was always clear what a truly elegant and special lady she was.
Her kindness, grace and warmth shone through every time our paths crossed.
A proud “Greaty Market” woman who leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family.
